MOBILE COMPUTING
1. What mobile computing is to you?
Mobile computing for me is the new generation of computing where typical personal desktop computers are turned into small yet efficient machines. This gadgets (mobile phones) are hi-tech enough to connect and communicate to different types of network. Even other individual gadgets such as camera and music players are put together in one single device.
2. What are different issues of any mobile devices?
One of the issue that is alarming for me about mobile devices is about the confidentiality matter, especially if the gadget runs on an Android or iOS operating system since they are designed to gather user information, which can lead to a possible of breach in the user's privacy or confidentiality.
Another issue that I noticed with mobile devices is about crimes that can be committed with the help of its features such as camcording or recording copyrighted materials which can result to piracy.
3. 5 years from now, what will mobile computing be?
With the technology available today I can say that Mobile Computing would equal or even surpass the capablility of a typical desktop computers. Sincepeople want to use their gadget almost everywhere and everytime, mobile phone developers would try to combine all features and technology possible to make a "super" mobile phone that would satisfy almost all the needs and wants of the users.
